RE: 2010 lacrosse tournament dates


Please note the following dates for the 2010 Boys Lacrosse State Championships.

Regardless of the reason, games not completed by Saturday, May 8, 2010 will not count qualifying for the State Championships.

Boys lacrosse entry deadline: Intent forms and sub 50% requests must be faxed no later than May 8, 2010. Entry fees must also be postmarked by Monday, May 11, 2010.

All schools qualifying will be seeded by the Tournament Committee according to their lax-power rating. Please check the accuracy of your Lax-power records. Seeds will be posted on the NJSIAA web site: www.njsiaa.org on May 11, 2010.

1. All teams with a 50% winning record have automatic entry into the tournament, unless choosing not to participate.
2. Additional schools may be admitted to the entire tournament by the At- Large Committee. Reminder: Sub 50% requests forms must be faxed no later than May 8, 2010 to be considered by the At Large Committee.

First Round - by Saturday, May 15 (Rain Date - Sunday, May16)
Second Round by Wednesday, May 19 (Rain Date Thursday, May 20)
Group Semifinals by Saturday, May 22 (Rain Date Sunday, May 23)
Group Finals on Wednesday, May 26 (Rain Date Thursday, May 27)
T of C Quarterfinals - on Saturday, May 29 (Rain Date - Sunday, ay 30)
T of C Semifinals on Wednesday, June 2 (Rain Date Thursday, June 3)
Finals on Saturday, June 5 (Rain Date Sunday, June 6)
